BEEP BEEP BEEP! It’s 7 A.M., and even though you know you have to get up, you hit the snooze button. Five times. Until it’s 7:50 and you have ten minutes to get ready.
Let’s be honest; we’ve all been there. Normally, when we’re in such a rush, we feel like we have to skip breakfast…DON’T DO IT!
This post is going to be your friend for these days. They’re easy to make, taste great, and give you the perfect amount of energy to get through the morning.
Tropical Citrus Refresher
This first smoothie is for someone who loves citrus and its tangy taste. To make it you will need:
- 2-3 freshly juiced tangerines
- 1 ruby red grapefruit (juiced)
- A handful of frozen strawberries
Mix these ingredients together in a blender. Feel free to add some ice or yogurt to give it some thickness – whatever you prefer! If you’re not a morning person, don’t worry; this smoothie will make you one.
Nicole’s Berry Blast
This smoothie is for all of you berry-lovers out there. All you’ll need are:
- ½ cup of blueberries
- ½ cup of strawberries
- ½ cup of blackberries
- 1 banana
- 1 cup milk (almond/skim milk work as well)
Blend your ingredients together and drink up! Again, feel free to add ice into your smoothie to make it a bit more refreshing.
Yummy Green Pick-Me-Up
This last smoothies is for our green smoothie lovers. To make this, you’ll need:
- ½ cup baby spinach
- ½ cup kale
- Your choice of juice
Mix your ingredients together and enjoy your tropical-tasting (and very healthy) smoothie!
